Winter have you down?

Essential oils can help!

Here in Iowa, we have had an incredibly mild winter so far. Hopefully that continues, but it still isn’t as great as summer in my opinion. If the season has you down, try Bergamot.

Psychologist Paolo Rovesti found in his research many years ago that citrus oils such as orange, bergamot, and lemon improve symptoms of depression. It always works for me! Bergamot is also know to specifically improve symptoms of S.A.D. (seasonal affective disorder).

One of my good friends always wants to hide under a blanket all of January. I make sure she has Bergamot on hand and tease her when it is time to use it! It is cheaper than a plane ticket to the beach (although not as fun!).
