When I was first starting aromatherapy, I could not believe that an essential oil I smelled would have a physical response. But it is true and here is the scientific data supporting it. Another fun fact- when inhaling an oil it only needs to cross 2 cells (alveoli and capillary) to reach the bloodstream. That is amazing!
